MARTY

Marty needed dentures but he was very concerned about being able to eat comfortably.  About 50% of lower denture wearers are unhappy because their denture "floats" instead of holding to their jaw.  Fortunately for Marty he chose to have four dental implants placed to hold his lower denture securely in place.  The above photos show the gold bar that connects to each implant.  Notice the two yellow clips in the underside of the lower denture.  These clips snap onto the implant retained bar.  Marty can still remove his lower denture whenever he chooses for cleaning purposes.  With this system, denture wearers can once again eat all the different foods they like without the frustation and discomfort of a loose denture.  Dentsply IPN Portrait denture teeth selected.  Dental implants placed by Dr. William Littlejohn.  Implant bar created by Mr. Steve Barksdale of Barksdale Dental Laboratory.  Cosmetic dentures created by Mr. Donald Saint of Custom Dental Laboratory, Huntsville, AL.  Cosmetic denture smile design by Dr. R.
