Amy originally had six porcelain veneers placed when she was a teenager due to the unhealthy enamel on her upper anterior teeth.  As a result of covering her teeth with porcelain at an early age and due to the fact that her face and bite were still maturing, Amy's old porcelain veneers no longer fit her teeth or her face.  The old veneers did not extend to the gumline as they should and they had become very stained between the teeth.  To restore Amy's smile, eight feldspathic porcelain anterior veneers were used.
